My godparents wanted to take my husband and I out for a nice dinner since we hadn't seen them in many months. They suggested The City Square Steakhouse. My husband and I had never been, so we were down to try it! The second I saw seafood bisque on the menu, I knew what I was ordering. It's not the easiest to find any form of bisque in Ohio, let alone one with scallops, crab, and lobster. It was perfect. In fact, I am savoring the last bites of my leftovers as I type this. It reheated well! I ordered a salad to accompany the soup and opted for the Bistro Salad- Mixed Greens, Mustard Vinaigrette, Toasted Pistachios, Baked Goat Cheese Crostini. It definitely needed cheese, so I asked for some goat cheese to add. Then it was perfect. My husband got a burger and my godparents got shrimp cocktail, side salads, steak and baked potato. The petite steaks were smaller than we anticipated, but were apparently still good. They give you bread and butter for the table too. My godmother wanted dessert and insisted I get some too. She got creme brulee (which I tried. It was great). I got a special-- cranberry curd on a ginger cookie base with little meringue cookies on top. It was so delish and perfect for this season.

In town for a wedding, this place was next door to our hotel!! OMG were we lucky r what!!! This place has amazing food but what ever you eat, DO NOT skip the soups!!! They are to die for!!! This is a gem!!! Kayliegh is the bomb bartender!!

Food- amazing Service- amazing Ambiance- amazing Great place for a special night Thank you for a wonderful evening. They even had signage that it was my wife's Birthday and every that stopped by greeted her.

Literally the only reason I stop here is for the seafood bisque. I make a point of pulling off the highway everytime Im passing wooster to grab myself a bowl. You should do the same and I promise you that you wont be disappointed. This time I also got the burger, ordered it medium rare and they nailed the temp. It was absolutly delicious.

We were looking for someplace different for dinner and decided on city Square steakhouse. Though it's about a half hour drive from our home, it was well worth the drive and the time! We arrived early not thinking we needed reservations, that said it seem to be filling up pretty darn quickly. It was nice ordering a Manhattan and having it come out perfectly! Thank You, my wife decided on a whiskey sour, which was done superbly as well! My wife decided on the lemon chicken with a side salad while I decided on their steak salad with a starter of their seafood bisque. The food was absolutely outstanding! The restaurant and the bar area was beautifully appointed and well kept! Our service was absolutely terrific! We truly want to get back there again before our time in Ohio is over. Thank you for the great dinner!

What an incredible gem located in Wooster! Delicious gourmet food paired with an extensive drink menu and wonderful welcoming and friendly staff! The whole place had a charming feel to it. It was mostly quiet, with quiet music playing. Our server, Robin, was warm & inviting. Very knowledgeable of the menu and made wonderful recommendations. My husband and I came in for dinner to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. This was our first time in and let's just say it's been a week now and we are still talking about our experience! We will definitely be back for more of this delicious food and top notch service!

Yum! The food is amazing and it was wonderful having brunch in such a relaxing atmosphere. We had a reservation, which I highly recommend you make one of you want to eat here. We were greeted upon entering the restaurant, seated right away, and waters were brought immediately. The server was very attentive and I appreciated his enthusiasm. He was also able to answer our questions. I also recommend if you eat here for brunch, order coffee to drink with the complimentary scones. These are baked in house. The coffee was smooth and had a great balanced taste. Ordered the frittata which came with potatoes. Delicious! The potatoes were seasoned well and perfectly cooked. Enjoyed the frittata, which had a good balance of eggs to ingredients. Huge portions but save room for the butter cake, which they are known for. Even if you split it with someone it's so worth it!
